The Stucky Ranch in Avon MT
A new series on Animal Planet called ‘Last American Cowboy’ airs on Mondays, starting June 7th 2010. Three family owned ranches are featured, and one is the Stucky Ranch in Avon, Montana. The Stucky family use traditional methods, preferring horses to ATV’s, and doing most of the work
by hand.

The Stucky Ranch is a working ranch, tours are not available. However, free daily tours are available at the Grant-Kohrs Ranch in Deer Lodge. This working cattle ranch is a National Historic Site and part of the National Park Service. Please visit www.nps.gov/grko for more information
Of all the families on the series, I am proud to say that you and your boys are what my family call “hands”. No helicopters no 4 wheelers and very nice ponies. You guys are cowboys, with nice nice horses under you. Enjoy watching you.
